I installed that program EasyLife, and I think it screwed with my system font settings. All the text is now kind of fuzzy. I can’t figure out how to easily uninstall the danged thing, either. Bah. I want to basically just rollback before it was installed. I think there’s probably a way to do that, but I don’t know how. It installed a boatload of packages, so I really don’t want to remove them individually. I might just, again, format and start over. That will get old soon, though. Oh well.

So I no longer think this necessarily has anything to do with EasyLife. I think it might just be that I had not noticed it before and suddenly it dawned on me and I can’t stop noticing it. Anyway, I haven’t fixed it yet. Here’s another thing to try later:

Gosh, it’s horrible. It’s not just the fonts; it’s the entire system. Everything is blurry. The weird thing is that the start page isn’t blurry. It’s once you get into the desktop that everything is blurry. I’m on Mint now because I simply can’t stand it. I’m going to hit up the forums after trying a “nuclear option” re-install.
