I had a couple of crowns put on two weeks ago, and while the process decidedly sucked, it has reaped at least one good benefit (aside from the rot being out of those two teeth): I have more energy. I assume that this is not exactly due to having the cavities gone, though I suppose that’s possible. What I’m assuming is actually going on is that because I was having issues with my teeth, I started taking vitamins. Only three things: Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and a fermented cod liver oil/butter oil stuff.

The main differences I feel are when I get up in the morning and at work. For quite a while, pretty much since summer ended, I’ve been having trouble getting up as early as I’d prefer. I just feel exhausted. And then at work, around 2pm, I’d just feel so. dang. tired. I even remember thinking that I should take my lunch late and just nap around then.

The past several days, though, it’s been different. Getting up hasn’t been an issue at all. In fact, I’ve gotten up earlier than my alarm a few times. And that 2 o’clock feeling hasn’t been there.

I just hope it continues. I like having more energy. And having my tooth settle down when I thought I was going to need a root canal is even better.
